About The Author

Born and raised in the Midwest, Cassie Hanle Brady found herself living in the land of sunshine and palm trees upon attending Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.

Although Cassie possesses an absolute love for writing; her fields of study acquired her a BA in Advertising and MA in Psychology. Ironically enough, her husband; Ed Brady, graduated as an English major. The two initially met while Ed was living on a sailboat. They even used to sail quite a bit together!

Apart from sailing, travel wise; Cassie spent a full summer living in Italy; which may have led to her development of an “immense love of all things Italian”.

Cassie and Ed were married on July 7th—exactly four years from the day they initially met.

Fourteen years ago, they had their daughter, Sofia. 

Four years later, they welcomed their first dog, Sniffy, into their home. Quite recently, the family welcomed their second dog: an adorable miniature poodle by the name of Noodles (also named by Sofia) into their California residence.

A distinct taste in aesthetics is to partially attribute to Cassie’s vast appreciation for quality over quantity. She favors ambiance over all: enjoying outings like tea at The Peninsula, brunch at Shutters, and other beautiful restaurants, spas, and premier establishments of Los Angeles.

Cassie Hanle Brady also enjoys the fine arts; having a background in dance due to spending several years training ballet. She also takes an interest in Renaissance and Impressionism art.
